VRF

VRF is an acronym of the English term Variable Refrigerant Flow, used to refer to air conditioning and heat pump systems employing Variable Refrigerant Flow.

The variable refrigerant flow system (VRF and also VRV) can control the quantity of refrigerant gas that flows through the system, so that each indoor unit only receives the necessary quantity of refrigerant for the space where it is fitted. The compressor motor varies its speed through inverter technology to increase or decrease the capacity required by the system.
