Thermal properties test

The objective of these tests is to define the ability of a pipe system to withstand heat stresses produced by a conventional heat source. It is applicable to insulating or compound insulating material pipe systems

Test methods

The methodology is based on introducing the test sample in a furnace for a set period of time. After heat treatment, a load is applied to the pipe in accordance with its rating. When the load is removed, it must be possible to pass a specific calibre through the inside of the pipe.
