We updated our notification for solid fuel heating appliances
After months of hard work, yesterday, August 1st, our notification has been updated with the new harmonized product standards for solid fuel heating appliances (EN 16510-2-x:2022 series of standards).
We remind you that the new product standards were harmonized last November 9, 2023, with a transition period of 2 years.
This means that, as of November 9, 2025, all products placed on the market must be evaluated according to the new EN 16510-2-x standards.
For products evaluated with the old standards, there are rules and guidelines for adaptation for the issuance of new type product reports by the Notified Bodies that we at CEISLAB can already apply and issue.
