AENOR- CEISLAB, the first conformity assessment bodies in the world to offer CB certificates

AENOR- CEISLAB, first conformity assesment bodies around the world offering CB certificates for charging cables for electric vehicles and Halogen-free low smoke cables.

CEISLAB as testing laboratory and AENOR, as Certification body, have been recognised by International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC), being the fisrt partners around the world offering CB certificates for:

  • Electric cables – Halogen-free, low smoke, thermoplastic insulated and sheathed cables of rated voltages up to and including 450/750 V according to IEC 62821
  • Charging cables for electric vehicles for rated voltages up to and including 0,6/1 kV according to IEC 62893

Additionally we have been also recognised by IEC for issuing CB certificates for:

The CB scheme

It is an international system created within the International Electrotechnical Commission (IEC) to assess the conformity of electric and electronic products and components, which facilitates the recognition of testing carried out between the different National Bodies to acquire the conformity marks.

AENOR has signed this multilateral agreement that covers 53 countries across five continents. CEISLAB is working as testing laboratory for different products, including a large range of cables for multiple applications and low voltage electrical devices.

What is the scope of this certification?

This certification provides access to markets in more than 50 countries that participate in the CB Scheme; specifically Argentina, Australia, Austria, Bahrain, Belarus, Belgium, Brazil, Bulgaria, Canada, China, Colombia, Croatia, Czech Republic, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, India, Indonesia, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Nigeria, Norway, Pakistan, Poland, Portugal, Republic of Korea, Russian Federation, Saudi Arabia, Serbia, Singapore, Slovakia, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Thailand, Turkey, Ukraine, United Arab Emirates, United Kingdom, United States of America and Vietnam.
