Dielectric test

The objective of this test is to establish the current leakage or creepage current which is produced around an enclosure when the maximum grid voltage is applied to it in accordance with the high voltage electro-technical regulation.

Test methods

The test methodology consists of applying the maximum single-phase grid voltage defined in the high voltage electro-technical regulation to an enclosure and fixings in the installed position of the product on the HV line over a given time.
